Carrie
Reilly
Carrie is a Training Specialist for Executive
Training ~ Team Quest. She received her B.S. in Education from
Oklahoma State University
and completed her master’s degree in Human Relations at the
University of Oklahoma. Before joining the University, Carrie taught
school in Ponca City, Oklahoma. That experience led her to OU,
where she was the Director of the Aerospace Academy, an interdisciplinary
math and science program. She has been in the experiential training
field for sixteen years.
Carrie produced and co-facilitated two
training videos, Trainer Games in Action: A Guide to Integrating
Experiential Learning into
Your Existing Training Programs and Trainer Games in Action, Volume
Two. Both videos received the 2003 American Society of Training
and Development - Central Oklahoma Chapter “Award of Excellence”.
She also helped develop a training tool called Expression Cards.
Carrie is the Co-Vice President of Programming
for the Central Oklahoma Chapter of the American Society of Training
and Development,
and member of the American Society of Training and Development.
She is also a member the University of Oklahoma’s Training
and Development Certificate Program Curriculum Review Committee,
Project Adventure Association, and the Central Oklahoma Challenge
Course Network.
Carrie is a certified challenge course instructor and has conducted
training sessions for clients such as: Oklahoma State Department
of Education, Marriott Corporation, Federal Aviation Administration,
United States Postal Service, Department of Human Services, and
the Tulsa College of Medicine. Carrie has been with the University
of Oklahoma for fifteen years.

Mark
Rose
Mark is the Program Manager for Executive Training
~ Team Quest with The University of Oklahoma Outreach. His main
focus is equipping
teams with skills and tools to become more effective. He received
his B.A. in Public Relations and his Master’s of Human Relations
degree from The University of Oklahoma.
Mark has worked as co-facilitator in a
series of training videos, Trainer Games in Action: Volume One
and Two. These two videos show
how trainers can use games and activities as object lessons in
a training room to help the learner with the retention of information.
Both videos have received the 2003 American Society for Training
and Development’s Award of Excellence. Another product Mark
helped design and develop is a training tool called Expression
Cards.
Mark is a certified challenge course instructor
who has worked in the experiential learning field with clients
in non-profit companies,
government agencies and corporations. He is a skilled facilitator,
and excels in his ability to enable clients to relate challenge
course behaviors to actual work and home behaviors. He is currently
co-writing a book called A Leadership Paradox: Influencing Others
by Defining Yourself. This book explores the leader’s role
in the process of profound and sustainable change in organizations.
Mark completed his Certificate of Achievement
from the OU Training & Development
Certificate Program in December 1999. He is on the Oklahoma City
ASTD Executive Board and also a member of several local and national
organizations including the Association for Experiential Education
and Association for Challenge Course Technology.
