Simulations are life-size activities used to focus on leadership and team development. Designed for intact work teams or groups from the same company, these programs typically include a combination of indoor and outdoor sessions. Both of these simulations were conceived, developed and are distributed by Learning Unlimited Corporation. These simulations are portable so we can go anywhere you need.

Virtual World
is a challenging team building journey to more effective teamwork. The simulation employs orienteering techniques; however, no compass experience is required. The scenario explains that the participants have entered a virtual reality team building simulator and have to make their way back to reality. On their journey, they will need to locate access markers using compasses. The problem is that when the team locates an area, there are several markers and only one is in the correct location. Choosing an incorrect marker has unusual consequences for the team. Choosing the correct marker gets the team the coordinates for the next leg of the journey and some "get out of trouble" cards that may be used later. The participants deal with issues such as leadership, problem-solving, decision-making, strategic planning, and teamwork. There is time spent after the simulation for team discussions and to work on the transfer of learning.

Equestrian Knights of Uma® is an interactive training system to enhance teamwork and reveal the vital benefits of collaboration and leadership within an organization. Three specialty teams gather materials that will be used to construct a device to launch messages to a target. This simulation involves all team members and combines the excitement of a scavenger hunt with the fun of creating something out of various materials. Participants will learn how to recognize and overcome obstacles which impede progress toward goals, and learn the importance of making wise decisions that support the whole organization and the smaller team.
